Our Does are important to us.  Some we've had since we started and are
actually getting pretty old, but being Kiko's, are still reproducing without
problems.

We run mostly white does with a few colors thrown in for interest.Kiko's
generally do favor white.  Does  kid once a year as we feel its easier on them
and they stay in production longer.  In an intensely run operation you can get 3 breedings in 2 years, but we're to lazy for that.

We occasionally will have a few does to sell each summer.  They go fast though.
I generally sell new doelings each summer when they're about 3-6 months old.  Keep an eye out and if some come up and you'd like to speak for them, do so quickly.  We will hold with a deposit.

                                                             This is Licorice, the most
                                                             spoiled bottle baby in the
                                                              world.  Her mom was an
ancient Alpine we had                                                                                        and so we bottle fed this
                                                              rascal.We bred her to
                                                              Montana this year and we're
                                                              hoping for some dairy cross
                                                              doelings.  The Kiko/dairy cross
sure seems to cut down on
                                                              management tasks with them.
                                                              Licorice is 50% Kiko.

This is Brown Betty and her two October 100% Kiko doelings,
     we'll likely be keeping both
of them as their mom is the
     easiest keeper!  She had these
     two little butterballs and
     was up and out  grazing
     when we noticed
     them.  A wonderful,
     consistant mom.

This is Sweet Pea.  My
grand daughter named
her, and who am I to
argue with genius.
A very sweet natured
doe with consistant
twins, she's getting old
but she gets to stay.

These are more of the older solid white does we have.
Peaceful girls that hold their weight well and require little
work from us. We bought these when we first got into Kiko's
and they've been good to us with wonderful kids every year.

These are just a few of our wonderful crew of does.  We cull
for ease of management and kidding/mothering and now
have a pretty solid herd of does.  Hope you enjoyed getting a
                           look at some of them.

Kiko Does......

Gurnsey is one of our few
  colored goats. She is onrey
as the day is long. She
jumps fences like a thouroughbred, and she
  has the best kids.....thats
  why she's still here.
I'm planning a later breeding with her in 2012 as she kidded later in 2011.  Wonderful doe.
